Senior Raymond Reece delivered an outstanding overall performance in the final game home game of his academic career. Reece scored 31 points, including two 3-pointers, and collected 16 rebounds as the Philander Smith University Panthers ran past the Talledega Tornadoes 91-77.

All five Panther starters scored in double figures. Jaxon Hampton contributed an efficient 6 of 12 performance from the field and a perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line for 18 points, while also grabbing nine rebounds. Fellow big man Joshua Wallace scored a season-high 16 points, while Freshman Kesean Washington knocked down five of his three-point attempts for 15 points, and senior Elijah Anderson pumped in 10.
It was the fast break that became the undoing of the Tornadoes. The Panthers outscored Talledega 29-13 in fastbreak points and in three-point efficiency, going 11-22 from downtown, while the Tornadoes converted on only seven of 23 attempts.
Tre Simmons led the Tornadoes with 18 points, followed by Arthur Williams with 17.
