NEW ORLEANS– November 22, 2025 -In an exhilarating Saturday afternoon matchup, Dillard University (LA) emerged victorious over Huston-Tillotson University with a final score of 86-75. The clash, which took place at Dent Hall, showcased the prowess and determination of both collegiate teams, but ultimately Dillard's strategic play in the third quarter secured their win.
The game was closely contested in the first half, with Huston-Tillotson taking a slight lead in the first quarter by scoring 19 points to Dillard's 17. Both teams displayed solid defensive skills, as reflected in the relatively low scores. By halftime, Huston-Tillotson maintained a slim advantage with a score of 35-30.
Dillard turned the game around in the third quarter, outscoring Huston-Tillotson by a significant margin of 36-21. This decisive period was crucial in swinging the momentum in favor of the home team, with standout performances from key Dillard players.
